Please don't waste your time and money on this item. The 12VDC car adapter is fairly compact, but it only has one USB outlet. The item description implies that both the wall AND car adapters have dual USB outlets, but this is not reality. The wall adapter gets very warm during use and does not charge my Blackberry above 50% capacity (let alone two Blackberries). In the end, both adapters are useless to me. I will not be looking to buy any products from Griffin ever in the future. I am dissapointed that Amazon.com does not have a more accurate description for this item. Clearly the seller is in it for the money and should be ashamed for selling such a useless piece of junk.

BEWARE: The picture of the car charger does not let you see that you can ony connect ONE DEVICE at at time, it is NOT DUAL. Other than that, it is of very good quality/build.

Careful, the 12V adapter for the car is only a single USB port, not dual like the picture shows for the 120V wall outlet adapter. Picture is misleading, really, but to be fair, the tech details do specify the PowerJolt and not the PowerJolt Dual. Still very handy, but had I realized, I would've bought them separately & specifically gotten the Powerjolt Dual Universal 2 USB Blk Car Charger to match the PowerBlock Dual Universal Charger for MP3 Players and USB Devices (Black). Now one of the 2 kids will have to go without power in the car. Uuurgh! This is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. Looking back at it now, I could've gotten the Belkin Mini Surge 3OUT Wall Mount 75K 918J with USB Charger, instead of the PowerBlock Dual.

I have found if you plug two items into the AC unit it seems to go off and on rapidly. I have also seen it happen with just one item plugged it. It still charges just takes longer if it happens. The DC unit seems to work fine. Not sure why they wanted me to rage sound quality, doesn't apply.
