Amazon.com Product Description If you're taking a road trip, the Zune Car Pack gives you everything you need to be your own DJ, listening to your music through your car stereo while keeping your Zune charged. This device transmits music from your Zune into an FM frequency that can be picked up by your radio tuner. You can automatically select an optimal station for broadcast using the auto-tuning Zune FM Transmitter. It often takes more than one station to stay tuned in if you drive between different regions with different stations, that's why the Zune FM Transmitter has two presets so you can easily swap back and forth between your most commonly used broadcast stations. To keep up with a long road trip, you can charge your Zune while listening to music in the car. The magnetic storage clip allows you to keep wires out of your way, and the dashboard grip pad provides a great place to rest your device in the car. It is compatible with all Zunes. What's in the Box: FM transmitter/charger, dashboard grip pad, product quick start guide, product manual.

Price is great, quality is better! August 24, 2010 Anne This was a great purchase. I have learned over the yrs that you get what you pay for, but with this item you get more than you pay for! I LOVE IT i havent had any others to compare it to but i have not had any issues with it, it was very easy to work with and sounds great! The best part is that it was a price that i could afford! I would definitly recommend this to friends!
Zune Car Pack v2 - Mixed reviews August 23, 2010 SteveK 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
On the positive side: The unit is well constructed, nice design, and for less than $20, I was very pleased with what I got.
On the negative side: As many of the reviews indicate, sound quality is not so good if living in an area where there are many radio stations... the problem is the sound is clear for a few miles, then another station comes into range and static kicks in.
If I could find a station that was available for the duration of my daily commute I would be totally satisfied. But, based on the amount I paid, I think I got my moneys worth for sure.
What you would expect August 19, 2010 Cameron It's a decent Frequency High-jacker. Take note, if you are in a busy area(Cityscapes)it is very hard finding a clear channel.
Better Than Expected August 17, 2010 A. Marcinkowski (Boston, MA) First off, I mistakenly ordered these without knowing for sure if it worked with a Zune HD. Sure enough, version 4.5 of the Zune firmware supports it just fine. Worked like a charm. The Zune HD did ask me to allow it to update the accessory software when it saw it the first time but that worked fine as well.
It outputs a pretty solid signal and works good in my van. My truck outputs a lot of electrical noise through the lighter when the engine is running, so it's a bit crackly but that's no fault of it. Maybe I can find a power filter for it. When the truck is not running, the sound is perfect.
My only complaints with it is I wish if scanned all channels to find the least signal but it doesn't seem to do that...it just looks for the next low signal one. I also wish it output a "louder" signal as the volume needs a boost to get it to the same audio level as the normal radio stations.
I would recommend it especially for the price.
Poor Sound Quality August 9, 2010 Bull Harbour (Kirkland, WA) Really poor sound quality and FM signal strength came in very week. Was expecting a lot more from this product.
