Excellent Protection February 21, 2010 C. A. Ma (Broomall, PA USA) I bought this after I grew tired of the old plastic case I had on my Zune. After reading the reviews, I decided that it was worth the price and bought it. Applying this to your Zune can be a little tricky, but just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. Once it's on and settled, it looks amazing! It's like your Zune is covered in liquid. The protection it offers is also exceptional, I've accidentally put keys in the same pocket as my Zune and the Invisible Shield keeps it nice and scratch free. This is a fine product.
Worth it. January 19, 2010 Raymond Murphy First and foremost, everyone was right when they said this thing was terrible to apply. I used up all of the "no fingerprints" spray that comes with it before I even started on the back piece because this thing is so damn hard to align properly. The touch pad/d-pad piece and the pieces for the "back" and "play/pause" buttons were especially hard. I botched the two small buttons so badly that I just removed them. No biggie. I cannot stress enough how extremely and frustratingly difficult it is to apply this thing. But once you get it applied correctly, you know it was all worth it. All the small bubbles disappear within a few days, and all the big ones go away within a few weeks. You never drop it, because the screens have such a great grip to them. Almost every heavy case will still fit properly, as these screens are so thin. I could take my fingernail to it without a mark showing up, although I don't recommend testing it out just for the sake of it.
Invisible Shield Classic Shield Case for Zune November 17, 2009 William G. Jakubiak (Branford, CT) The application of the "case" can be easily screwed up. I recommend watching the video of an application on the site before hand. I screwed mine up the first time, and had to re-apply. There are little fibers from my pocket stuck in between the front and my screen. Other than that, this is a very good case. Offers excellent view of the screen, with great scratch protection. As for impact resistance, it is just a thin plastic membrane surrounding the Zune, so no more than usual. Over all good value, just do it right the first time
Never got it October 12, 2009 Rogelio Perez Jr. (Baghdad (temp)) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful

With a little patience...yeeeeaaaahhhh September 29, 2009 Benny Bobo (Rockville, MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A quick scan of the one- or two-star reviews for the Invisible Shield indicates one thing: users had so much trouble putting the invisible shield on their Zunes that they oftentimes gave it a bad review when they didn't end up putting it on and using it! In other words, they gave one star to the product installation rather than the product performance. As one of the people who successfully installed the Invisible Shield, I think it's important to point out that this is the rare mp3 shield/case that does EXACTLY what it says it will and has exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
The Pros:
1) It's more scratch resistant than any case I've ever used, whether it be a plastic shell or leather.
2) It does not attract dust and debris.
3) It is completely form-fitting, so you can easily dock your Zune...no more removing the shell case every time you dock!
The Cons:
1) The Shield provides no impact resistance whatsoever. Active users who never dock should look elsewhere.
2) The Installation. Look, I'm not going to sit here and pretend that it was just as easy as sliding your Zune into a leather case or snapping it into a shell, but it is not the physical impossibility that negative reviewers make it out to be. I have three recommendations. First, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS all the way through before you do ANYTHING and follow them exactly. Second, have a dust-free microfiber cloth on hand...it's the best way to get rid of fingerprints and stray hairs before you put the Shield on your Zune. Finally, Take. Your. Time. If you do, you never need to buy another case/shield again and it will cost you a grand total of ten...whole...minutes at the most.
Bottom Line: The Invisible Shield does exactly what it advertises. It's HIGHLY scratch resistant and does not prevent your Zune from being docked. Although the Shield might be difficult to put on your Zune, it can be done easily with a little patience...yeeeeaaaahhhh.
