Not Happy with it July 22, 2010 Natasha Williamson 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this product because it said that I could listen to my music from my Player in my car and that's not what it does, its just for the radio and satellite radio. Well, I already have radio, I wanted to listen to my downloaded music. It was a waste and I haven't used it nor have I been able to use my Zune in my car!! I wasted my money, wish I could get a refund!!
Works great! July 14, 2010 Ms. Shannon (Tucson, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I must admit that I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading the negative reviews. But since Amazon.com sells it for cheaper than ANYONE, and returns are easy, I decided to give it a try.
I set it up this morning. I began w/ the radio off, as other reviews suggested. I used the seek function and the 1st 2 FM stations it found were full of static and very low. Bad reception. I tried the seek function one more time and it landed on the same FM station I use for my XM Satellite Radio. And it worked great on that station! It's crystal clear and I don't have to jack up the volume.
I'm super happy that I can listen to my eclectic music collection w/o changing CDs!
Dont Waste your money June 29, 2010 BMoustapha 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had the option of purchasing a new car radio or buying an FM transmitter for my new Zune HD. Seeing the costs, I decided the 40$ investment in the FM transmitter/Car charger was worth it in the long run.
However, After using the device in my car i came to a horrible realization that in New York City, this device was absolutely worthless without the AUX cable. Every single channel it automatically recommended worked half the time with horrible audio quality depending where i held the device WHILE driving. and for some odd reason if i was stopped I could barely hear a whisper of the song playing. The AutoSeek option and the FM transmitter overall was horrible.
Essentially i spent $40 for a Zune Car Charger, so if you live in a city with alot of radio traffic...dont waste your money...you're better off spending it on a new car radio.
On a Good note: It Charges my Zune.
Zune HD pack May 16, 2010 Kenneth Hitt (Natick,MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works as good as can be for an FM tuner.
Simple to use and setup.
Like all FM tuners the station signal quality varies from state to state.
Terrible sound quality May 15, 2010 Bob Alou 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Regardless of what frequency you choose, the sound quality from this device is awful. Even on an empty frequency, the audio is very quiet (it doesn't matter where you set the Zune's volume) and has a constant hiss of static in the background. For a "premium" device, and especially at a premium price, one would expect it to actually work.
