4 out of 5 stars Heatbeats are Fab!   December 31, 2009

To start off with I must say, I had a hard time spending $100 on a pair of headphones. I'd really been wanting these, not just because I'm a huge Gaga fan, but because I'd heard Monster puts out some of the best quality audio devices. So I decided to buy them as a Christmas present to myself and spend the $100.

I had been use to wearing the iPod earbuds which I've always hailed the best earbuds ever, so when I got these home I wasn't immediately sold. I found that they weren't as loud as my iPod buds but I figured I'd give them a shot. After fidgeting with them for a few nights, I grew to love them. The sound is immaculate as there are so many sounds I was missing out on. I also found that they are as loud as the iPod buds but the loudness comes from the bass not the treble with these. So that's just an adjustment when switching from mediocre earbuds to these awesome sounding fashion buds! When I tried my iPod buds back on I made a face and said wow I thought this was the best?

The only thing I'm still having trouble with is the fit. I've never owned a pair of in-ear headphones so like a previous poster said, I think it's just an adjustment trying to figure out the correct way to wear them. I'm getting closer to figuring it out though, so not a reason to take them back.

Over all I think they are worth the $100, and I'm one of those people that keeps things until they break before I try something new. So if you have the $100 and are looking to listen to your music in a totally different way, go buy these! And I must say they are extremely cute aswell! And if your a Gaga fan, 'Pokerface' and 'Teeth' sound amazing on them!

5 out of 5 stars Lady GaGa Heartbeats = AMAZING   December 30, 2009

I read reviews saying that they dont fit and fall out. Not mine. My headphones came with 6 different sizes and I found the ones that fit me perfectly. They've been in my ears for almost 2 hours and haven't fallen out. I've even eaten with them in. These headphones sound amazing! I feel like I'm in a club all the time. The sound quality is exceptional. Oh, and of course, these headphones look AMAZING!! If you are any kind of Lady GaGa fan you should buy these!

5 out of 5 stars Takes time to get used until....it becomes one of the best listening experience   December 29, 2009

For starters, using in-ear headphones can be a challenge for those stepping up from the regular ear-buds.
At first I was confused with the fact that the headphones had to be really placed properly in the ear. I didn't know and just placed the earbuds in my ear and not really putting them in correctly. I was frustrated with these earphones for almost a week. I tried every single one of the earbuds with no luck. i almost wanted to return them but decided to give them a chance and take time to experiment with the different eartips. These heartbeats aren't for everyone, but for you lucky ones with the ears for these headphones, you will be blown away. It took me almost a week to be well-adapted to the shape of the headphones and to finally find the correct eartip for my ears. With the proper fit, the sound quality really lived up to its name and price. Bass was deep and not over-powering, and the mids and highs were top notch and were not drowned out by the bass. The overall sound quality was very clean and quite balanced. I was finally able to say that I was deeply impressed by the sound quality and the headphones FINALLY stayed in my ear. If you do plan on getting this pair, you should really be patient if it doesn't work out for you the first time.

4 out of 5 stars Heartbeats Headphones, Lady Gaga   December 28, 2009

My daughter loves these headphones! The design is super stylish. Although the triangular ear pieces seemed like they would be in the way(or worse), but they are not and because of the style, it is clearly begging for attention. The sound is perfect for her style of "lady Gaga" style music. Lots of thumping beats and makes you want to get up and dance. The 'Monster" cable wiring makes it nice and neat. No tangling just flat and very aesthetic. Thanks Dr Dre

1 out of 5 stars painful and not very ergonomic   December 28, 2009

The sound quality of these earbuds might be good, but it was hard to listen to more then 1 song at a time without having to readjust them so that they wouldn't fall out of my ear or so that they would stop uncomfortably digging into my ear. What was the thought process behind designing hard pointy triangles that need to be jammed into the ear to prevent them from falling out. I didn't have success with either of the 2 sizes supplied with the earbuds. I will be returning these as soon as I can.
