Surprising February 24, 2010 Pen Name (Colorado Springs) I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound on these headphones for the price. Stereo separation is excellent. Not a fan of dork-sized headphones like these, but they are no heavier than wired ones like this. The hiss is easily minimized by adjustment of input volume vs. headphone volume.
Pro: Excellent sound quality. Excellent stereo separation. Excellent sound separation - e.g. iTunes, game, Skype call at same time, no muddiness. Great bass response. Dead simple setup.
Con: Occasional wireless sound glitch. Still not neural implant.
drops the signal very frustrating February 9, 2010 Tom (Kingston, MA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these at quite a discount at a local Job Lot ($25.00) to use to listen to the news while running on the treadmill. At that price, I guess that means I shouldn't be so disappointed if it didnt pan out. At first though they were great. The sound was unexpectedly good, and they were very comfortable to wear while exercising. The controls on the headset are a bit small and do take some practice to manage. All in all I was very happy with the unit. Until day 3 that is. All of a sudden the transmitter shuts off and fails to receive the signal, blasting my ears with static! After a minute or so it picked the signal up again, and all appeared to be fine, at least initially. But not so, the transmitter shuts off sporatically throughout use, for a few seconds to as much as a few minutes. It makes no difference what is playing on the TV. It is so aggravating I have stopped using them. Maybe someone out there knows why this is or if it can be remedied!!! Otherwise off to the dump they go!!!
Wireless Stereo Headphones 900MHZ February 9, 2010 James L. Renfree (citrus heights, Ca, US) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My remote headphones purchased from
amazon has worked very well for me.
I use them for listening to the TV.
My hearing is poor especially in the
high frequiency ranges & with this head
phones I hear most everything now. The
only improvement I would suggest is
an improved way to access the battery
compartment. I sometimes have difficulty
getting the cover removed.
I have 3 sets of these. Love them and they at a good price. February 5, 2010 Jackie Leonhard (Tomahawk WI) I have 3 sets of these. Love them and they at a good price. Wish you didn't have to buy all the adapters to make it work with TV jacks.
loved it and ordered a second one! February 2, 2010 SALLY (San Antonio, Texas) You can leave the room and still get to hear well. If you go to another tv set in another room, it also picks that audio up. The volume must be set lower in the headset than on the TV in order to eliminate any static. The sound is great!!
