Well let me tell you first this is like the old version of the Ipod not the old old version but almost like the first one. It works very well but I must say that some of the new applications won't work, a few of the attachments won't work they are made for the new version.
But If you dont care and you just want to listen to those tunes
I say buy it!!!!

I bought this for my husband. I was torn between getting him an iPod or a Netbook, as he likes to email constantly and listen to his music. While I was on Amazon looking at iPods, I saw the iPod touch. It combined the ability to go online, email, and play his music as well. I'm very happy with the price compared to netbooks! He has used it nonstop since I gave it to him. There's nothing about this we don't like, with the exception of the chrome on the back.
In order to keep it in nice shape, I got a solid pop on back and put it on before I did anything else. I also put on a clear rubbery film on the front glass display, just to be sure there were no nicks or marks. With those two items, the chrome and glass are safe. We love this!

I purchased this item for my son and he loves it. He dropped his first one and the screen shattered and apple wouldn't do anything....they wanted 100.00 plus dollars to fix the screen??? I bought him a new one and this one is great. Easy to use and will have enough memory for all the music and games and apps.

My wife loved the touch I bought for her 1.5 years ago. She used it for videos, music and a few of its apps. I used Mint on it to keep tabs of finances on the go.
Then 2 weeks ago the screen went white when she turned it on. I went online to look for solutions and apparently several people have had the same problem. For some, all it took was a hard reset (reboot) and it went back to normal. I tried restoring the touch to its factory settings but that did not work. I tried installing the latest version of its software and that did not work. The screen simply will not stop being white.
A product as expensive as the touch should not die so soon. I have crappy mp3 players from 5 years ago that still work just fine. Maybe I simply got a dud in the patch made my Apple in 08.

Although this item was recieved decently quick, it was not in proper working condition.
Thanks for an ipod with a bad headphone jack!!!
